RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico -- Michael Bradley picked up his third career PGA TOUR victory Sunday with a dramatic birdie on the 18th hole to finish at 14-under 274 at the Puerto Rico Open. Bradley's playing partner Jason Day had a chance to birdie out and force a playoff, but he missed a 10-foot putt to finish at 13 under along with Brett Quigley.

• This was Bradley's first tournament of the 2009 TOUR season. He played 14 events in 2008 and missed the cut eight times.

• Bradley has now turned two career third-round leads into victories with Sunday's win at the Puerto Rico Open added to his win at the 1998 Doral-Ryder Open. His win at Doral came on March 8, 1998, 11 years and seven days from his win Sunday.

• Bradley's win at the 1998 Doral-Ryder Open came at the same site as the World Golf Championships-CA Championship, which is also finishing up today in Florida.

• Bradley's last top-10 finish came at the 2000 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, a span of 64 tournaments. Prior to 2000, he had 18 top-10 finishes in seven seasons including wins at the 1996 Buick Challenge and the 1998 Doral-Ryder Open. Of Bradley's 48 top-25 finishes, 41 came before the 2000 season.

• Day's tie for second is his best finish on the PGA TOUR. Day's previous best finish was sixth at the 2008 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

• The attendance grew steadily all week, with Thursday's gallery totaling 6,900 fans and Friday's rising to 15,400. the gallery on Saturday measured 26,000 fans, while a whopping 41,230 fans attended Sunday's final round.

Jimmy Walker used a 7-iron to record a hole-in-one on the 192-yard, par-3 11th hole in the final round.
