EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR on-site correspondent Brett Wright previews Sunday's round:
Oh, what a difference a day makes! Sunny skies and staying dry were the theme for the third round of the Turning Stone Resort Championship. On the PGA TOUR, good weather leads to good scoring conditions, and there were many players that took advantage of that on Saturday. Sunday has a 40 percent chance of rain through the afternoon, so we are not celebrating a dry weekend just yet.

Nick O'Hern had a double armful of rain and cold gear that was removed from the golf bag after his round on Saturday.
Several of the bombers continued to take advantage of the wet golf course on a day where temperatures were warmer and the ball was flying farther. Scott Piercy, Nicholas Thompson, and Leif Olsen are all in the top five on the leaderboard.
The key to playing well now is the ability to adjust to the speeds of the greens and bounces of the pitch shots as the golf course dries out some due to the wind and sunshine. If the golf course can avoid more rain, these adjustments must continue to be made. These guys are pretty good at adjusting to new greens every week at each TOUR stop, but to adjust to changing conditions this much on the same greens each day is a little unusual. I saw several lag putts in the final round where the speed was misjudged and the player was left with four to six feet for the par save.
I have been touting the bombers all week, and I still believe the long hitters have an advantage, but my final pick to win is not a bomber. I have a feeling that Sweden's Fredrik Jacobson is due to win his first PGA TOUR event. He is a magician around the greens and has played his way into contention many times with three top-10s and five top-25s this year.
Jacobson is no stranger to winning, he has three victories on the European Tour and I just have a feeling this week might be his breakthrough in the United States. Jacobson is three back after three rounds, so it will take a very good number to make up the difference. Look for the leaders to take a while to heat up and find themselves tied with or behind Jacobson down the stretch, and watch the Swede's short game come out on top.
