Here's a look at the Sam Snead bracket going into Friday's second round of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. OTHER BRACKETS: Bobby Jones | Ben Hogan | Gary Player | Third-round predictions

POTENTIAL BLOWOUT: Jim Furyk vs. Ross Fisher. Both of these guys blew out their second-round opponents, but Furyk has looked a little better in his two wins than Fisher, who had to come from 2 down in the first round against Robert Allenby. Furyk also loves playing in the desert and will have a lot of his U of Arizona folks cheering him on.

PLAYER WE'RE SURPRISED TO SEE IN THE THIRD ROUND: Ross Fisher. Fisher's page in the media guide for this event is about as short as it could possibly get. He does have two victories under his belt -- the 2007 KLM Open and last year's European Open -- but few could have predicted he would survive a bracket that featured Padraig Harrington. Of course Harrington didn't make it out of the first round.

Third-round matches
JIM FURYK (14) vs. ROSS FISHER (32)
This course sets up well for Furyk, who has his irons dialed in to whatever section of the green the pins are in. Fisher, a two-time winner in Europe, has been surprisingly good with a total of eight birdies and one eagle the last two days.
JUSTIN LEONARD (27) vs. OLIVER WILSON (43)
With a premium on iron play, Leonard fits right in here -- he's trailed for just two holes this week. Wilson, however, is riding some serious momentum after jacking up eight birdies against Anthony Kim. Four those came in his last five holes.
NOTE: Official World Golf Ranking in parentheses.
