Here's a look at the Gary Player bracket going into Thursday's second round of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. OTHER BRACKETS: Bobby Jones | Ben Hogan | Sam Snead | Second-round predictions

MOST INTRIGUING MATCH: Sean O'Hair vs. Boo Weekley. You never know what you're going to get from Weekley -- on or off the course. That said, he's turning out to be a pretty impressive force in match play situations. O'Hair, meanwhile, was red hot on Wednesday and can be streaky good.

MOST COMPETITIVE MATCH: Sean O'Hair vs. Boo Weekley. Both these guys were as hot as the Arizona weather on Wednesday. A dozen birdies between them ought to make for a pretty good showdown. Of all the matches in this bracket, this one's also got the potential to have the loudest gallery.

POTENTIAL BLOWOUT MATCH: Ian Poulter vs. Charl Schwartzel. We though Schwartzel would possibly get blown out by Sergio Garcia and saw how that one turned out. Poulter is a player, however, who, when he's playing well, tends to do so in streaks. Given how Poulter played Wednesday, this one might have blowout written all over it.

POTENTIAL SECOND-ROUND MATCH: Ian Poulter vs. Boo Weekley. I can see it now...Poulter in hot pink pants and Weekley riding the bull down the fairway. This would have some serious entertainment value to it, not to mention some pretty darned good golf. Both these guys are making birdies in bunches right now.

Second-round matches
IAN POULTER (31) vs. CHARL SCHWARTZEL (63)
The question for Schwartzel is if he can keep the momentum going against Poulter, who can be streaky good the way he was Wednesday with three straight birdies at one point and six on the day.
SEAN O'HAIR (47) vs. BOO WEEKLEY (50)
Weekley says he won't break out the Happy Gilmore dance until an appropriate time. A win Thursday would seem appropriate. Both are playing well -- they each had six birdies in the first round -- and this should be close.
STEPHEN AMES (39) vs. PETER HANSON (58)
Ames has played in four of these, reaching the quarterfinals in 2007. Hanson, after losing in the first round last year, pulled off a pretty good upset Wednesday. That's probably where his run will end, however.
PAUL CASEY (23) vs. MATHEW GOGGIN (55)
Another case of one player bringing a good deal of international match play experience vs. a guy no one thought would be here, all signs would point to Casey rolling over Goggin. Of course that's what a lot of people thought about Kenny Perry.
NOTE: Official World Golf Ranking in parentheses.
