Season in review
KEVIN NA: 18th in FedExCup points (340 after reset)
Na quietly put together one of the more consistent seasons on the PGA TOUR this year. With a tie for fifth right off the bat at the Sony Open in Hawaii, Na was No. 15 in FedExCup points in January and never strayed far from the top 20. He has played in 25 events, made 18 cuts and posted nine top-10s, which is tied for third most on TOUR. His lowest FedExCup rank all season was No. 27 after missing the cut at the Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer, and he rose to as high as 10th with his third-place finish at the FBR Open, his best TOUR performance since ties for second at the 2005 FBR Open and Chrysler Classic of Tucson. Na did not advance past the Deutsche Bank Championship in 2007 or 2008.
Quick analysis
Na turned 26 last week, but he has been a fixture on the PGA TOUR since he first earned his card at the age of 20. He's still looking for his first victory, but he continues to knock on the door, with nine top-10 finishes and more than $2 million in earnings. He was delighted to make his first TOUR Championship on many levels -- not the least of which is that he'll get to play in the Masters, U.S. Open and British Open for the first time in his career. -- Helen Ross
