THE MODERATOR: Chad, thanks for taking the time to come down here. If you would just take us through that last playoff hole and then they will we'll take some questions.
CHAD CAMPBELL: You know, the 17th was playing just like in regulation. I hit pretty much the same shot. I actually hit it a little bit heavy, a 7-iron. You know the green is pretty firm. That's why it didn't stop. I hit a decent chip and came up a little bit short and wasn't able to make the putt.
Q. Chad, did you anticipate still being around, you started a little slow, you couldn't get it in gear until later on in the round. Was the wind a factor?
CHAD CAMPBELL: When we started 13 it was blowing pretty hard. You know, I didn't play that well today. I was able to hang around and make some putts and make some birdies to get myself in position and get myself into the playoff. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it done.
Q. Given the lack of experience that you have had in playoffs, did you like your chances, or did you figure it doesn't come into play because it's golf and anything can happen?
CHAD CAMPBELL: Yes, anything can happen, like you said. I think definitely having experience helps, but obviously it didn't mean anything.
Q. What's the big difference today with the way you played today compared to yesterday?
CHAD CAMPBELL: I didn't drive the ball very well with the driver. When I hit 3-wood off tees I wasn't able to get it in the fairway. I was shooting away from pins. The rough is not thick, but you could get some squirrelly lies. I think I was having to play a little bit cautious there for a while and missing the fairways and par-5s just kills you.
Q. What adjustment did you make for the wind having played here so many times with the wind?
CHAD CAMPBELL: Yes, it was a little bit out of a weird direction, but, you know, I think it seems like the wind always kicks up on Sunday in this tournament. At least it did the last couple of years. It makes it interesting there at the end.
MARK STEVENS: Thank you very much.
