Q. Jim, just start off about talking about how the course played today?

JIM FURYK: You know, again real windy, so not your typical. From what I read, tomorrow it's supposed to be warm and winds light and variable, so you will have to score very well. Today scoring was tough. It's real windy out there. It's blustery, cool in the morning. Not my idea of Las Vegas in October. But pretty tough I thought with the wind all considering. I think our weather for the tournament is just really good.

Q. You got a great history at this tournament, do you want to talk about just coming back here and playing, what it means to you?

JIM FURYK: Yes, I won three of my first four events here in Las Vegas. Unfortunately I haven't won here in 10 years. But I had a couple of good opportunities. I lost in a playoff since then, and I had some other top finishes. I enjoy coming here. I enjoy playing. I haven't played it since it's moved, since they started the FedExCup season. And this was for two years I missed it now, so it's nice to get back. My family and I enjoy coming to Las Vegas, and I enjoy TPC Summerlin.

Q. There has been a lot written about this moving to the FedExCup season, do you have any thoughts on that?

JIM FURYK: That would be great. That would be great. I've always enjoyed playing the event. The reason why I haven't been in the past, I've played so much within the FedExCup season, that I played so many events, I just want to get the heck away from golf for a while. And this year I paced myself a lot better and I am somewhat excited about playing.

Q. There's a story being written about Las Vegas Country Club, can you just talk a little bit about the Las Vegas Country Club and where it used to be in the rotation and your thoughts on that course?

JIM FURYK: I always enjoyed playing there. We always stayed close by. You would hit shots where you would have hotels in the background. It was kind of a unique view that way. It was kind of a relatively short tight golf course. I think it really favored my game.
