GRAND BLANC, Mich. -- Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and multiple Grammy winner Bob Seger will play with Tiger Woods Pure Michigan Pro-Am at the Buick Open on Wednesday. Seger and Woods will tee off at 7 a.m. on No. 1 at Warwick Hills.

"We're excited to announce that one of the greatest rock 'n' rollers from right here in Michigan will play with the world's No. 1-ranked golfer," said Larry Peck, national promotions manager for Buick-GMC. "This is a unique pairing that fans should not miss seeing up-close-and-personal."
Seger, with the Silver Bullet Band, first scored a Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with "Night Moves." He has poured out numerous hit songs such as "Like A Rock," "Old Time Rock and Roll," "Against The Wind" and "We've Got Tonight," as well as co-write the Eagles' No. 1 hit song "Heartache Tonight."
The Pure Michigan Pro-Am line-up includes a star-studded line-up of sports standouts, including: New Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz and players Jason Hanson (kicker), Dominic Raiola (center) and Drew Stanton (QB); Red Wings stars Kirk Maltby and Dan Cleary; recently-named Detroit Pistons head coach John Kuester and Pistons greats Bill Laimbeer and Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson; Flint native and former Michigan State hoopster Charlie Bell; Birmingham native and current Houston Rockets player Shane Battier; and opinionated sports radio host Bill Simonson of "The Huge Show."
