Cink's ballstriking was spotty in the opening round of his title defense -- he hit just 10 greens. He also failed to birdie either of TPC River Highland's par 5s. He must shoot well under par on Friday to have a chance at making the cut.

Five things you should know about Stewart Cink
He uses Twitter (Read his tweets: stewartcink) and loves to use the site to communicate with his fans before, during and after PGA TOUR tournaments.
As an amateur, Cink was a three-time All-American (1993-95) at Georgia Tech. He received the Dave Williams, Haskins and Jack Nicklaus Awards in 1995 as the country's top collegiate golfer.
Cink, one of tallest golfers on TOUR at 6-foot-4, is a big Atlanta Thrashers hockey fan and an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, camping, biking and skiing.
He was selected as the PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year in 1997. He was the first player to be named Nationwide Tour Player of the Year and PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year in successive seasons.
Cink has five PGA TOUR wins, with his most recent victory coming at the Travelers Championship last year. The win vaulted Cink to sixth in the Official World Golf Ranking, his highest-ever position.
