OAKVILLE, ONTARIO -- Jerry Kelly continued his recent stellar play. Kelly, who finished solo third at last week's U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee, completed his first round on Friday morning with a 7-under 65 effort. After a brief respite, Kelly started his second round and was 4 under through 15 holes when play was suspended for the day at 7:29 p.m. ET. Kelly had come into this event with a string of eight consecutive sub-par rounds, including four in a row in the 60s last week.
Kelly played bogey-free golf through his first 31 holes and, going back to last week's Milwaukee event, had a streak of 55 holes without a bogey before the streak ended at No. 14.

Kelly has been perfect on the par 5s so far through 33 holes, posting birdies on all six of the par 5s he has played.
Kent Jones saw his streak of consecutive holes without a three-putt end at 164 when he three-putted No. 9 in the second round. That was the best current streak on the PGA TOUR. The best streak this season was 292 in succession by John Senden.
Arjun Atwal and Briny Baird both recorded holes-in-one on No. 15 on Friday. Both used an 8-iron on the 132-yard hole. On Thursday, Joe Durant aced No. 7. The last time there were four holes-in-one in an event was in 2006 at THE PLAYERS Championship when Fred Couples, Justin Leonard, Jesper Parnevik and Henrik Stenson all aced No. 13.
Baird's ace certainly helped him move up the leaderboard. He was 2 over after 16 holes in his opening round but, since that point, is 8 under over his next 15 holes. He had started the day tied for 90th but is currently tied for 17th -- a jump of 73 spots.
Baird and Nathan Green have posted the low scores of those players who have started their second rounds. They are both 6 under. Baird had completed 13 holes and Green 12.
After shooting a 2-over 74 in his opening round, Jamie Lovemark fired a 5-under 30 on the front nine to start his second round and is 3 under after 28 holes. Lovemark is making his professional debut this week after a standout career at USC, where he won an NCAA title as a freshman in 2007.
Kevin Na, who shared the first-round lead with Camilo Villegas, never got to start his second round on Friday after shooting 63 on Thursday. He is among a group of 76 players who still have yet to begin the second round.
Robert Garrigus, Mark Brooks, Lee Janzen, David Gossett, Carl Pettersson, Tag Ridings, Aaron Baddeley, Greg Owen and Brian Davis all withdrew on Friday. All except Brooks had started the second round.
Although there is a lot of golf yet to be played, Stephen Ames leads a group of 15 Canadians competing in the event. Ames is 7 under after 15 holes and is currently tied for ninth.
Of the players who have started the second round, Kevin Stadler and Bob Estes remain bogey free. Estes has played 31 holes and is currently tied for sixth at 9 under, and Stadler has played 29 holes and is tied for 17th at 6 under.
