The RBC Canadian Open will take place at Glen Abbey Golf Club this week. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

SLEEPER PICKS
How it works: Our 10 experts from PGATOUR.COM select any player who isn't ranked in the top 30 of the FedExCup rankings, the Official World Golf Ranking and the Race to Dubai. The player also must not have won in 2008 or 2009. By using a draft process, no two picks can be the same.

MARK CALCAVECCHIA. Oh the joy of discovering he's eligible. Calc has a win, two runner-ups, four top-10s and eight top-25s. He was T14 in '08 at Glen Abbey, so he can handle the course, and, ah yes, he was in contention at the Open until a Saturday 77.
Helen
Ross
MATHEW GOGGIN. He's another one who played well at Turnberry -- not to mention he was incredibly gracious as he and Tom Watson came to the 18th green. Hopefully, this Aussie was inspired and can carry that over to this week.
T.J.
Auclair
FRANK LICKLITER II. He played so well for 54 holes in Milwaukee until a disappointing Sunday led to a tie for 18th. Still, it was his second-best finish of the season. I think he'll ride the momentum from Milwaukee into Canada.
Ryan
Smithson
BRANDT SNEDEKER. Glen Abbey is kind to players who aren't bombers, and Snedeker's one of the shortest hitters around. I'm glad he missed the cut at the Open; he won't be as tired, unless he's exhausted from watching Round 4 at Turnberry (a lot of people are).
Lauren
Deason
STEPHEN AMES. Canadian fans have adopted the longtime Alberta resident as one of their own, so he'll have a huge following north of the border. The 2006 PLAYERS Champion also enters the event having notched two top-10s in his last five starts.
Brian
Wacker
AARON BADDELEY. Since Fred Couples withdrew after Wednesday's Pro-Am, I had to change on the fly, and with Baddeley coming off a final-round 65 that resulted a T9 at the John Deere Classic, he seemed to be as good a choice as anybody.
Mark
Spoor
JOHN DALY. Daly was uncharacteristically consistent last week at Turnberry, shooting 68-72-72-72. His Twitter posts as of late have shown a focus that hasn't been associated with Daly in years. Maybe the comeback gets a shot in the arm.
Win
McMurry
JOHN MALLINGER. Well on his way to his best season that includes four top-10s, Mallinger is fresh off a playoff loss in Milwaukee. While he missed the cut at Glen Abbey in '08, when he played in Canada in '07 (at Angus Glen), he tied for seventh.
Mike
McAllister
BRYCE MOLDER. He was a collective 41-under par in his four starts going into the British Open. Even with a T43 at Turnberry, he impressed with a third-round 67. With Stewart Cink winning last week, maybe Georgia Tech grads will go back-to-back.
John
Swantek
JONATHAN BYRD. This could go either way. Byrd could be deflated and unfocused after the recent passing of his father, but I think he'll be inspired and re-energized by the competition after a two-month layoff.

LAST WEEK: There was no change in the standings last week as Helen Ross built on her lead with a top-10 finish from Tim Petrovic. Each week, we'll update the standings based on the FedExCup points accumulated by the players selected by our experts. Here's how it stands after Week 28:
