EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR Network on-site correspondent Brett Wright previews Thursday's first round:
Defending champion Kenny Perry, who has no problem with length off the tee comes back to what he told me was his home course. He said that every time he tees the ball up here, he feels like he has an advantage because he is so comfortable with the way this course sets up for his eye. Perry is riding a wave of momentum from the victory at the Travelers Championship and will surely be in contention on Sunday.
The Quad Cities area loves this event, and fans at TPC Deere Run constantly remark to the players "Thanks for coming!"
Lucas Glover, the U.S. Open Champion said today in a press conference that the players should be thanking this tournament for the all the great treatment they provide for the players and families here this week.
