Heath Slocum drained a clutch putt for par on the 72nd hole at The Barclays to maintain the lead and earn his third TOUR win with Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington and Steve Stricker all just one shot behind him. The victory was worth 2,500 FedExCup points and propelled Slocum to third in the points standings. Here are some of the e-mails PGATOUR.COM received from Slocum's fans congratulating him on his newest trophy.

Brilliant, Heath, just brilliant! I have followed your career really closely since you won in '05 playing some amazing golf that week and have waited for you to recapture that form. Well, your play yesterday surpassed any previous performances. You have finally become the proven world-class golfer that I knew you would. Now lift the FedExCup, buddy. Dave
WOW! You are now one of the big boys! Congratulations. Frank
That was magical. Considering the four guys at 8 under, that putt on 18, well, was simply amazing. Congratulations, Heath; and hope to see you in Atlanta. Paul
Congrats on the win. I loved seeing you make that putt in the clutch!! That will make you so much mentally tougher going forward than anything else, I believe. Keep up the good work! I would like to see you win next week again!!!! Tracy
Way to go, Heath!! Watching you sink that last putt was unforgettable. All of Pensacola is so proud of you!! Jane
You played very well. My congrats to you. Keep your A game going. You have a chance to win the FedExCup. David
Heath! Great job Sunday nailing that 21-foot putt. Clutch play in a big tournament will send you blazing to the next round. Tell your caddie good job, by the way. He helped you position that ball well on 17. Emmanuel
Heath's win propels him to No.3 in the FedExCup standings and propels me to No.3 in my golf pool. Great win, Heath! You have always been a fav of those who follow all the players closely. Good luck the rest of the Playoffs! Douglas
Heath, I remember you burning up the course at the old Avoyelles Golf and Country Club when your dad was manager. Congratulations on this win! I always check the leaderboard on the PGA TOUR Web site to follow how you are doing. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you at the Zurich Classic next year. Pete
Great job, Heath. I knew you had it in you the whole round. I walked with you at the Deutsche Bank during the pro-am in 2005. Look forward to seeing you this week. John
Heath, I also am a graduate of South Alabama, though many years before you. I used to watch you hit balls out at Azalea City. I have followed your career and was pulling for you on Sunday. Congrats. Michael
Heath, congratulations!! You and I met at St. Barlow's CC when Travis won the Hooters Tour Championship, and I have been following you ever since! You played an incredible tournament!! Good luck the next three. Craig
