The PGA TOUR heads to Dublin, Ohio for this week's Memorial Tournament. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

EXPERT PICKS How it works: Our 10 experts from PGATOUR.COM select the player they think will win this week's event. By using a draft process, no two picks can be the same. | Expert picks: the Memorial Tournament |
Ceri Mobley |
TIGER WOODS. So he might not be 100 percent, and he might not be ready to win again, but he's Tiger Woods. A three-time Memorial champ with nothing worse than a T9 in stroke-play events this year? I'll take it.
| |
Ryan Smithson |
ZACH JOHNSON. This week, I have the honor of TIFPAT (The immediate first pick after Tiger), and it's a tough call between Zach Johnson and Kenny Perry, but one I was forced to make by my superiors.
| If Smithson had the top pick ... Woods |
Lauren Deason |
KENNY PERRY. The defending champ has won here three times, plus he's notched six top-10s in 13 starts in '09. Dare I say it? His record at Memorial is equal to Tiger's and he's ranked higher than Tiger in FedExCup points -- Kenny > Tiger this week. |
| If Deason had the top pick ... Perry |
John Swantek |
VIJAY SINGH. After coming back too soon from knee surgery and struggling for about eight weeks, The Big Fijian finally has it dialed in with seven straight rounds in the 60s. Strong record at Muirfield Village, where he won in '97.
| If Swantek had the top pick ... Woods |
Win McMurry |
JIM FURYK. The 2002 Memorial champion has four top-10s at Jack's place. It's just a matter of time for when he'll put four rounds together this year. |
| If McMurry had the top pick ... Woods |
T.J. Auclair |
PAUL CASEY. He recently took over the No. 3 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking and is coming off a fifth-place finish at Colonial. Casey is playing with supreme confidence and that will carry over to this week. |
| If Auclair had the top pick ... Woods |
Helen Ross |
GEOFF OGILVY. He's cooled off after the red-hot start that saw the talented Aussie win twice in his first five starts. But the 2006 U.S. Open champ has a good track record at the Memorial, where he's held a share of ninth each of the last two years.
| If Ross had the top pick ... Woods |
Mark Spoor |
STEVE STRICKER. I'm surprised he's still on the board here. He has three top-10s in his last four starts including that playoff win last week. Sure, it's tough to win two weeks in a row, but is there a hotter player on TOUR right now?
| If Spoor had the top pick ... Woods |
Mike McAllister |
SEAN O'HAIR. He ranks second in greens in regulation and third in ball-striking, so that should serve him well at Muirfield Village. He just won a month ago, so it may be too soon for another win. But I think he'll be in the hunt Sunday afternoon. |
| If McAllister had the top pick ... Casey |
Brian Wacker |
IAN POULTER. Forget about his previous trips to Muirfield Village, none of which ended with a finish higher than 30th. Poulter has three top-10s in his last four starts, and he also has a penchant for performing in big events, like the Memorial.
| If Wacker had the top pick ... Woods |
