Only a select few individuals have been chosen as Captain's Club members for the Memorial Tournament over the years. This group, which advises the tournament on player invitations and general tournament conduct, also selects each year's tournament Honorees.

Jack Nicklaus selected Herbert Warren Wind, considered by many to be America's greatest golf writer, as a member of the Captain's Club. This is Wind's Captain's Club blazer, which is now part of the World Golf Hall of Fame's collection.
