| Two-time defending champion Boo Weekley got off to a fine start on Thursday with a 2-under 69. Visibly bothered by back problems as he gingerly picked his tee out off the ground on each hole, Weekley still managed to post a solid number. |

| Boo shot a 1-over 72 on Friday, but it could have been a lot worse. Boo shot a 4-over 40 on the front nine, but bounced back with a 3-under 32 on the inward nine to right the ship. |

| Weekley said his back felt much better on Saturday and it showed with a couple of early birdies. A double bogey and a bogey on the back nine hurt an otherwise good round, however. |

| Weekley didn't win for the third straight time at Harbour Town, but he did move into the top 15. "I'd have to say honestly I was a little remorseful, because I'm not the one that will be holding the trophy," Weekley said after his round. "I'm a little sad on that end, but at the same time it's all good." |

| Five things you should know about Boo Weekley |
Weekley's given name is Thomas Brent, not Boo. The nickname comes from Yogi Bear's sidekick Boo Boo. |
He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for one year, where he studied turfgrass science and played on the golf team. After that year, he went back home to Milton, Fla., and worked as a hydroblaster at the Monsanto chemical plant in Pensacola. |
Weekley started out playing on the Developmental Players Tour, which was co-founded by Jack Slocum, the father of his high school friend and fellow TOUR pro Heath Slocum. |
He often claims he doesn't have a deep knowledge of the history of the game, but he lists Ben Hogan as his hero. |
Despite his rise to bigger fame as a member of the successful 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup team, he had represented his country in golf before he wowed the crowds at Valhalla; he and Slocum claimed second for America at the 2007 OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup. |
