THE PLAYERS early birdie special offer ending soon

Tickets for the 2010 PLAYERS Championship that went on sale Nov. 1, starting at a price of $45 for daily tickets, are only available until Thursday, Dec. 31. The limited-time tickets offer 40-percent savings from last year's $75 ticket.

THE PLAYERS, one of golf's premier events, will be held at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 3-9. Weekly grounds tickets will be available during the same timeframe for $145 (down from $199 in '09).

"We are very excited to offer our fans this incredible value to watch the best players in the world on one of golf's finest stages," said THE PLAYERS Executive Director Jay Monahan. "We feel like this offer will allow more of our fans access to one of the best events in all of sports right here in our back yard.
