EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR Network on-site correspondent Mark Carnevale previews Sunday's fourth round:

What a final round we are going to have at TPC Scottsdale. With 15 players within three shots of the lead, avoiding mistakes is going to be paramount to the winner's success in bringing home the victory.

Experience could ultimately determine the winner and, with 11 of the top 16 players having PGA TOUR victories on their resumes, it is going to be difficult to say who has the advantage.

For those rookies and non-winners close to the lead, the pressure to win will be there, even if they think they have nothing to lose. As someone who has been there, I can say that different thoughts come into your head and somehow you have to use those to your advantage.

Sunday's forecast

Sunny
Temp: 76 high/43 low
It will be clear and warm, with winds coming from the SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Certainly, Scott Piercy and James Nitties have played well, but I am a believer you need to have been close a few times and risk losing in order to win. This is not to say they can't win, but history is not in their favor. Kevin Na has put his time in, so maybe I give him the best chance of those who have yet to win.

It would be hard to imagine anything toping Kenny Perry's fantasy season of 2008, when he had three wins and played on the winning Ryder Cup Team in his home state of Kentucky. In talking with Kenny after the third round, I get the sense that he really wants to win this tournament. He said, "the fans and people have always treated him well in Scottsdale." He loves the golf course. It's hard to argue with Kenny, and we know what he can do when he puts his mind to achieving his goal. Kenny, after all, was close to getting this title in 2002 but lost to Chris DiMarco.

It's going to hectic, fun and exciting and I will have a front row seat. I will be calling shots of the final group for the PGA TOUR Network. In a town where they believe destiny is on their side, destiny is also in the "CARDS" (pardon the pun) for a PGA TOUR player.

Is it destiny of winning an event you have wanted for a long time? Or is it destiny of your dreams as a kid to win on the PGA TOUR? I can't wait to watch it unfold.

The one stat(s) you need to know
Kenny Perry has not had a three putt all week. In fact, his current streak is 65 holes without a three putt. The streak started on the eighth hole during the final round at the Sony Open.
