Shanks for the memories: Bob Hope golf artifacts

The World Golf Hall of Fame currently has an exhibit featuring memorabilia and momentos from Bob Hope's long career in entertainment and in golf. The exhibit, called "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory", has the largest collection of Bob Hope items on public display and will be open for all of 2009. Mark Cubbedge, Manager of Research and Collections at the World Golf Hall of Fame, shares his 10 favorite images from the museum.

LOTS OF LAUGHS Bob Hope was awarded an Emmy in 1959 for bringing the great gift of laughter to all people of all nations, including the American troops that he entertained for decades. Hope received so many awards -- over 1,500 during his lifetime -- that he's in the Guinness Book of World Records as "most honored entertainer".
