Shanks for the memories: Bob Hope golf artifacts

The World Golf Hall of Fame currently has an exhibit featuring memorabilia and momentos from Bob Hope's long career in entertainment and in golf. The exhibit, called "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory", has the largest collection of Bob Hope items on public display and will be open for all of 2009. Mark Cubbedge, Manager of Research and Collections at the World Golf Hall of Fame, shares his 10 favorite images from the museum.

What to know about this image
Bob Hope and wife Dolores were wed for 69 years and at one time held the record for the longest Hollywood marriage. They moved to Hollywood in 1937, where he began his long-running movie and TV career. This section of the exhibit also includes memorabilia from the 50th Bob Hope Classic.
