The Nationwide Tour heads to the West coast, San Jacinto, Calif., this week for the inaugural Soboba Classic. With only three events left before the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island, where the top 60 on the 2009 money list will compete for 25 2010 PGA TOUR cards, this week's record-tying $1 million purse will create some movement and drama in "The 25."

The Country Club at Soboba Springs borders the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indian reservation about 50 miles East of the Pacific Ocean. With breathtaking views and rich history, this par-71 (7,102 yard) course will provide an interesting challenge. There are only three par 5s, with two on the front nine, back-to-back (No. 5 and No. 6), and one on the back nine (No. 18).

Last week, Garrett Willis won the WNB Golf Classic and moved up 13 places on the money list to No. 6 with $261,506. Willis all but secured his 2010 PGA TOUR card. Runner-up, Chad Collins collected $56,700 for his third second-place finish of the year and moved to No. 9 on the money list with $255,514.

Both are playing this week at the Soboba Classic where the winner will receive a check of $180,000.

Garrett
WILLIS
Fresh off the win, and he's used to playing for big money. Willis has four top-15 finishes in the last six events. He's also played six PGA TOUR events this year where he made the cut three times.
Matt
EVERY
Despite not playing well of late, making three of five cuts, he tends to play well on the West coast. Earlier this year at the Stonebrae Classic in San Francisco, he led after two rounds before finishing tied for fourth.
Chad
COLLINS
Collins has three runner-up finishes this year (Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open, Price Cutter Charity Championship and WNB Golf Classic) with nine top-25 finishes. Hes quietly moved up the money list all year without a win. He knows how to win on the Nationwide Tour; he did it in 2005 at the Henrico County Open.
Rickie
FOWLER
Fowler is playing on a sponsor's exemption this week. Earlier this year, the former No. 1-ranked amateur in the world lost in a playoff to Derek Lamely at the Nationwide Childrens Hospital Invitational. He's looking for a Tour to play on next year. A win here would give him Nationwide Tour membership status for 2010 and 2011.
Fabian
GOMEZ
Gomez has made the last three cuts in a row, recording two top-25 finishes. He was inside "The 25" for the majority of the year, but he's dropped to No. 32 on the money list.
