Editor's note: Dave Lagarde has been a PGATOUR.COM correspondent for all things Nationwide Tour since 2005. Each week, Lagarde will size up the field and provide his top five players going into the tournament, based on factors such as the player's strengths, the course setup, recent performances, etc. | MORE: Mayakoba Golf Classic Power Rankings | World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship Power Rankings

This is the Tour's second visit to Moonah Links, which is located about 90 minutes south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. The par-72, 7,469-yard layout has previously served as host of the 2003 and 2005 Australian Opens, won by Peter Lonard and Robert Allenby, respectively. The course was designed by native Australian and five-time British Open champion Peter Thomson. It opened for play in 2001.

Last year, Ewan Porter cruised to a wind-blown, seven-stroke victory, his first on Tour. Porter held the first- and third-round leads and shared the top spot at the halfway point. Sunday's final round featured sustained winds at 20-25 mph, gusts up to 45 mph and much of the field struggling to make pars. Eventually Porter posted a bogey-free 66. Only 11 of 72 players broke par during the final round, and Porter's 66 was three strokes better than the next-best score.

With all that said, let's see who Lagarde thinks can succeed in the 2009 Moonah Classic.

Andre
STOLZ
Stolz is performing more like a modern-day version of Lazarus than a golf pro. Down for three years with a frustrating wrist injury, Stolz, a PGA TOUR winner, has three straight top 10s on the Australasian Tour, including a victory. Look for the roll to continue.
Danny
LEE
The reigning United States Amateur champion had all of his limitless potential on display at the Johnnie Walker Classic last week. He birdied four of the last six to come from behind for an astounding victory. He's coming in riding a wave of confidence.
Michael
SIM
Sim challenged for the victory in the Johnnie Walker Classic before throwing it in reverse coming down the stretch. Two bogeys on the final four holes undid him. He has too much talent not to use his experience to his benefit on his return to the Nationwide Tour.
Craig
PARRY
Parry's a fixture on the leaderboards when he decides to support these events. It would be an upset if this week turned out differently.
Ewan
PORTER
Porter is the defending champion after all, so lets toss some love his way. His game crashed and burned once he got Stateside, but he apparently has an affinity for this track, where he won by seven in 2008.
