Editor's note: Adam Wallace is a media assistant for the Nationwide Tour. Each week, Wallace will size up the field and provide his top five players going into the tournament, based on factors such as the player's strengths, the course setup, recent performances, etc.

The Nationwide Tour heads south of the border this week to Mexico for the Mexico Open. Last year, the Nationwide Tour hosted the 50th Mexico Open at Tres Maria Golf Club in Morelia, Mexico. This year, the event will be played at El Bosque Golf Club (par 71) in Guanajuato, Mexico.
El Bosque is the second longest course on the 2009 schedule at 7,568 yards. The longest course on Tour is Kinderlou Forest Golf Club/South Georgia Classic at 7,781 yards.
Since the 2009 Mexico Open is played on a course never played before on the Nationwide Tour, it makes it difficult to predict who will play well. The yardage says this will be a long hitter's course, but there's no telling what the conditions will be like.
