PANAMA CHAMPIONSHIP: Tee times | Field | Power Rankings | INSIDE: The Field | Course | MORE: PGA TOUR picks | Sleepers

With the start of the 2009 Nationwide Tour season, PGATOUR.COM will have expert picks and sleepers for each event this year. Our experts -- Nationwide Tour producer Ceri Mobley and marketing assistant Jordan Crampton, who formerly worked for the Nationwide Tour -- will each choose two players they consider favorites that week and a sleeper pick (a player who is not inside "THE 25"). Here are their selections for this week's Nationwide Tour season opener, the Panama Championship at Panama GC.
Crampton's picks Mobley's picks
Matt Every. The former Florida Gator was off to a solid start in '08, finishing 12th here last year. He finished 34th on the Money List last year in his first full season on the Nationwide Tour, and I'm looking for him to a have a quick start in '09.
Nick Flanagan. The 2007 Nationwide Tour Player of the Year had a rough time of it on the PGA TOUR last year, so he's ready to get back to basics and remember how to win again.

Won Joon Lee. Lee finished off the 2008 season red hot, making nine of 10 cuts and finishing in the top 10 four times. I think he'll continue on this successful trend as he is looking to break through and win on the Nationwide Tour.
Scott Dunlap. Rarely on the Nationwide Tour do we see a defending champion, but Dunlap struggled after his win here last year. This is a chance for him to reignite the game flame up with good Panama memories.

Kyle Reifers. He has a lot of Nationwide Tour experience; he finished inside the top 50 on the Money list in '06 and '08. He missed the cut last year in his first start at this event, but I'm looking for him to make a run this week on his second time around.
Manuel Villegas. He won the 2008 Colombian Open, and he's the brother of -- you guessed it -- two-time TOUR winner and No. 11 in the world Camilo Villegas. It's time to find out whether baby bro has the talent of his older sibling.
