HSBC NEW ZEALAND PGA CHAMPIONSHIP: Tee times | Field | Power Rankings | INSIDE: Course | MORE: The Honda Classic picks | Sleepers

PGATOUR.COM will have expert picks and sleepers for each Nationwide Tour event this year. Our experts -- Nationwide Tour producer Ceri Mobley and marketing assistant Jordan Crampton, who formerly worked for the Nationwide Tour -- will each choose two players they consider favorites that week and a sleeper pick (a player who is not inside "THE 25"). Here are their selections for this week's HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Crampton's picks Mobley's picks
Daniel Summerhays. After an impressive showing last week, I think Summerhays is primed to return to the winners' circle soon. His game has matured since he broke through and won as an amateur in 2007, and he played well at this event last season.
Peter O'Malley. Let's see, in the six short years of this tournament, O'Malley has won twice -- in 2002 and again in 2005 -- and also has a top 10 and a top 15 here. Then there's the fact that he came in second last week at Moonah Links. I'll take him.
Won Joon Lee. I am hoping this Aussie can find his form next door in New Zealand this week. He played well here last year, and I would expect another good finish here this year.
David Smail. He came in second at last year's rain-shortened event. He tied for eighth last week in Australia. And I don't think Judge Smails has ever asked him to mow his lawn.

Danny Lee. Yes he missed the cut last week, but I can't pass up this talented teenager in his home country. Hopefully he feels more comfortable this week after coming off his impressive win at the Johnnie Walker Classic.
Ryan Hietala. A spurt at the end of '08 wasn't quite enough to get Hietala his TOUR card as he finished 29th on the money list. This year he'll be trying to make sure that doesn't happen again, and this is as good a week as any to start.

LAST WEEK: While Jordan Crampton had the edge over Ceri Mobley after week 1 with one made cut to her three missed cuts, Mobley took the lead in week 2 with a strong third-place finish from Australian Michael Sim.
