Fort Smith Classic presented by Stephens Inc.: Tee times | Field | Power Rankings | MORE: U.S. Open | Sleepers

PGATOUR.COM will have expert picks and sleepers for each Nationwide Tour event this year. Our experts -- Nationwide Tour producer Ceri Mobley and marketing assistant Jordan Crampton, who formerly worked for the Nationwide Tour -- will each choose two players they consider favorites that week and a sleeper pick (a player who is not inside "THE 25"). Here are their selections for this week's Fort Smith Classic presented by Stephens Inc.
Crampton's picks Mobley's picks
Alex Prugh. Prugh is off to a very solid sophomore season on the Nationwide Tour, having won already in '09 and making eight of 11 cuts (including the last four events). After a blistering 65 on Sunday last week, I wouldn't at all be surprised if Prugh takes that momentum into this week and notches his second win of the season.
Kevin Johnson. Is there a hotter guy on Tour right now? Talk about Michael Sim all you want (he's playing in the U.S. Open this week anyway), but Johnson just won twice in three starts -- just like Sim -- and this vet's not facing the tremendous pressure of expectations like the young Aussie star is. Go for a third, Kev.
Martin Piller. After a couple of disappointing missed cuts, Piller turned things around last week with a solid showing in Knoxville. With three top-10s already this season, Piller is bound to break through and notch that first win. Just like his Aggies who captured the big one last month, Piller is ready to prove himself on the national stage.
Garrett Willis. I had a hard time with this slot this week, until I checked out Willis' season. He hasn't missed any cuts in his six Nationwide Tour starts this year, and he has two top-fives (including a playoff loss at the difficult Panama GC), a top-20 in Georgia and a tie for 11th on the PGA TOUR to boot. He'll help me close in on Jordan.
Crampton's sleeper Mobley's sleeper
Dustin Risdon. Another Nationwide Tour rookie who is having a solid season so far, Risdon notched his second top-10 last week at the Knoxville Open presented by Food City. If Risdon can keep up his consistent play, he should find himself in position for his first Nationwide Tour victory very shortly.
Daniel Summerhays. The former Nationwide Tour winner tied for third here in '08, and after three missed cuts in as many starts, he could use a return to a place with good memories, where he knows his game is good. I know the real Summerhays is in there somewhere -- the one who tied for fourth twice this year.

LAST WEEK: Crampton had two missed cuts last week, but his sleeper survived and went on to tie for 17th -- besting Mobley's two made cuts and therefore keeping her from making any ground.
