This week's Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island will pit the top 60 players on the money list against each other for not only a coveted spot in "THE 25," which leads to a TOUR card, but also priority rankings for the 2010 PGA TOUR. The closer you are to No. 1 on the money list, the more opportunities you have to play next year.

Before we take a look at what each player needs from Daniel Island, here are a few facts to be aware of:

• The final 25th position on the money list after the Nationwide Tour Championship is projected to be between $180,000 and $185,000.
• Players currently ranked 15th or better are mathematically guaranteed to finish within the top 25.
• Players currently ranked 16th to 18th (Gove, Bjornstad, Barcelo) are highly likely to finish within the top 25, and those ranked 19th to 22nd (Baryla, Quinn, Veazey, Gronberg) have a good chance to finish within the top 25 regardless of the outcome at Daniel Island.
Michael Sim can break the $600,000 mark with a four-way tie for second or better.
• The lowest-ranked player in the field -- Garrett Osborn, No. 59 -- can make the top 25 with a second-place finish.
Garrett Willis (No. 9) and Darron Stiles (No. 60) are the only players who qualified for the Nationwide Tour Championship but are not playing. Stiles is in the field at the Frys.com Open on the PGA TOUR, and Willis is currently an alternate there as well.
