WNB Golf Classic: Tee times | Field | Power Rankings | MORE: THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola expert picks

PGATOUR.COM will have expert picks and sleepers for each Nationwide Tour event this year. Our experts -- Nationwide Tour producer Ceri Mobley and former Nationwide Tour and PGATOUR.COM employee Jordan Crampton -- will each choose two players they consider favorites that week and a sleeper pick (a player who is not inside "THE 25"). Here are their selections for this week's WNB Golf Classic.
Crampton's picks Mobley's picks
Mathias Gronberg. The Swede has been splitting time between the PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour this season; while his TOUR resume is a little sub-par, his Nationwide Tour season has been outstanding. He has four top 25s in five starts, including a win in Maryland. Gronberg will certainly be one the favorites heading into Texas this week, as he will be looking to notch his second victory of the season.
Tom Gillis. Stick with the winning formula, right? Gillis is still yet to miss a cut this season, and he notched his fifth top-10 in a row last week at the Boise Open. Where did he finish last year in Midland? Tied for 13th. So I like his chances to continue his solid run toward another victory this week in Texas. If not, let's hope he at least gets me another shot at the first pick so I can keep catching up to Mr. Crampton.
Vance Veazey. A bit of a risk here, even for someone who consistently navigated Midland CC last season with rounds of 72,69,70,71 for a tie for 13th. Veazey hasn't been veryconsistent this season, and he will needa strong finish if he wants to remain inside "THE 25," as he is currently 22nd on the money list.Veazey knows what it takes to win and what it takes to make it on TOUR; if he can find his form, he will be a real threatcome season's end.
Jeff Gove. Gove has almost as clean a record as Gillis this season, with just one missed cut. But, to be fair, he has made 21 starts to Gillis' 11, so that might be worth more. He has six top-10s in 2009, one of which came just two weeks ago. He's playing really well right now with ties for 20th, 10th and 14th in his last two starts, and he was runner-up in Midland to Charley Hoffman back in 2004, so he definitely has the goods to make something happen.
Crampton's sleeper Mobley's sleeper
Martin Piller. Currently just outside "THE 25" at 26th on the money list, Piller is in need of a late-season push to get himself on TOUR next season. After a hot start to his season, Piller has been rather dormant. He is making cuts, but his weekend rounds are not helping his cause.Don't be surprised to see the Texas native and Aggie alum compete for a win in his home state this week, which would more than solidify his position on the money list.
Craig Bowden. Another runner-up at the WNB Golf Classic, Bowden lost out to Kris Cox in 2005. He has been improving on every finish week after week since missing the cut at the Cox Classic, with ties for 16th, 13th, 10th and ninth coming in his last four starts. He's oh-so-close to "THE 25" at 31st on the money list, but he only has a handful of tournaments left to get there, so he has to play well -- starting right now, where he knows he can.

LAST WEEK: Though our experts had only two made cuts with four missed cuts, Ceri Mobley was able to continue to close the gap between herself and Jordan Crampton with a tie for ninth from Tom Gillis.
