Fred Funk (Ranked No. 1 with 1,833 points through the U.S. Senior Open)

"I got off to a late start this year and Bernhard played really well early on. I knew I needed to play well in the majors to have a chance. All three of us are playing really good golf and it will probably come down to the two remaining majors and the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. My goal was to eventually catch Bernhard. I really didn't think I could catch him anytime soon. Now I'm in the catbird seat. I played really well at Crosswater last year so I'm looking forward to defending at the JELD-WEN Tradition. I also love Baltimore Country Club. For me, the harder the golf course, the better. I have lots of confidence right now but my game still needs to be in top form or it gets exposed. It's great that it's not a one-horse show anymore. There still might be another player come out of the pack to challenge Bernhard or Loren or myself if we all don't play well on a given week. You want excitement and we have an exciting race now. Everyone up there is playing well. We're all gunning for the same thing. I felt like I had a good opportunity to win the Charles Schwab Cup last year but my knee gave out on me near the end of the season. Hopefully, my body will stay intact this year and I can finish it off."

Bernhard Langer (Ranked No. 2 with 1,615 points through the U.S. Senior Open)

"I've played quite well all year and really didn't play badly in the recent majors but it just shows how quickly things can change in the Charles Schwab Cup race. Obviously, Loren Roberts and Fred Funk both had very good weeks. We still have two majors left and the Schwab Cup Championship at the end of the year. Lots of points are still at stake and everything is up for grabs. Hopefully, I will play as well the rest of the year as I did starting off and be in contention at the end. At the beginning of the year, every player wants to win the Schwab Cup and it was certainly a goal of mine."

Loren Roberts (Ranked No. 3 with 1,477 points through the U.S. Senior Open)

"Obviously the win at the Senior British Open Championship got me right back in the race. With double points in the two remaining majors and the year-end Charles Schwab Cup Championship, this thing is far from over. You're just going to have to play all the way to the end. It's a great testimony to the competitiveness of the Champions Tour. You've got to play all the way to the last shot. Believe me, I know about that better than anyone else."
