Even though they're clear across the globe, Americans John Merrick and Nick Watney are still celebrating Thanksgiving. The American duo at the OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup took time out to draw turkeys. Here's what they came up with:

Merrick, a UCLA alum, finished a career-high 75th in the FedExCup standings in 2009, boosted by a solo second at the Bob Hope Classic, his best career finish on TOUR. Merrick is playing in his first World Cup.
"It's an honor to represent the U.S. in this team competition," Merrick said. "I haven't played much team golf, so I'm excited."

Watney, a Fresno State grad, turned in his best year on the PGA TOUR in 2009. He won for the second time, capturing the Buick Invitational. He also experienced success in China, taking fifth at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions.
"It should be a great week, and we talked a little bit, mostly with our caddies, just about how we are going to approach the week in terms of team play," Watney said. "But it should be good. We are looking forward to it."
