GUANGZHOU, China (AP) -- China's Liang Wenchong shot a three-under 68 on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead into the final round of the $500,000 China Classic.

Liang, the Asian No. 1 in 2007, carded three birdies to move to an 11-under 202 total in the OneAsia series event. He was a stroke ahead of Australia's Andrew Martin (69), who was the co-leader with Liang after the second round.

China's Zhang Lianwei, who was 11 strokes off the lead after the second round, charged up the leaderboard after shooting an eight-under 63 -- the day's best round. Zhang, who eagled the first hole and fired six birdies, was three strokes back with Australia's Craig Scott (68) at the Royal Orchid International Golf Club in Shunde, south of Guangzhou.

Three golfers were five strokes off the lead: China's Wu Ashun (68), New Zealand's Michael Long (68) and Australia's Stephen Leaney (71).
