ROBERT ALLENBY. A putting tip from Vijay Singh paid dividends for Allenby last week as he tied for second at Firestone, closing with a 66. The veteran may only have five top-10s in majors but one of those, a tie for 10th, came at Hazeltine in 2002.
T.J.
Auclair
RICH BEEM. He hasn't played his best in recent years and heads to Minnesota after withdrawing in Reno from an injury. Hopefully, that doesn't affect his status. It'll be fun to see Beemer return to the site of his biggest triumph.
Mike
McAllister
WOODY AUSTIN. Toss out a couple of missed cuts (John Deere, Travelers) and Austin has been solid ever since finishing T22 at THE PLAYERS in May. And remember, just two years ago he finished runner-up to Tiger in the PGA Championship at Southern Hills.
Win
McMurry
CHAD CAMPBELL. Unlike Perry, Campbell flew under the radar after losing in the Masters playoff. He enters the final major still dodging the spotlight, despite tying for 11th last week. Campbell was solo runner-up at the PGA in 2003.
Mark
Spoor
MATHEW GOGGIN. Of course, he had that memorable fifth-place finish at Turnberry. He also had a top-25 last week at Firestone. He knows how to hang with the big boys. Does he have what it takes to beat them?
John
Swantek
SOREN HANSEN. The Dane's best season ever in 2008 led to a Ryder Cup berth. That form has carried over into this season -- T6 at the U.S. Open and T8 at the British Open. Ranked 45th in the world, he won't be sleeper material much longer.
Brian
Wacker
PAUL GOYDOS. Remember, Goydos was in contention at the British Open until the weekend, when he shot 77-82. Goydos' lack of length off the tee is a concern, but he has three top-five finishes this year.
Ceri
Mobley
MICHAEL SIM. How disappointed I was to find I couldn't pick Michael Sim on the Nationwide Tour this week, but then I realized he was playing here, and all was right. He was T18 at the U.S. Open. Let's see how he likes the PGA.
Ryan
Smithson
FRED COUPLES. No, he's not really a sleeper, and he plays only about once a month, but anytime he's available and no one's taken him, he's mine. He's not going to miss the cut this week at Hazeltine.
Lauren
Deason
MICHAEL ALLEN. I almost picked Tom Watson at the British (seriously) and have regretted it ever since. I'm not making the same mistake again. Allen won the '09 Senior PGA and desperately wants to win on the PGA TOUR.

LAST WEEK: Mike McAllister picked winner John Rollins at the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open last week and picked up 250 FedExCup points, while Brian Wacker's sleeper pick of Robert Allenby (who tied for second) earned him 258 points.
