Australian Adam Scott visited Westpac's Sydney Head Office last Wednesday to assist in the bank's efforts to raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire Relief Appeal.
Scott hosted a putting competition and golfing demonstration for Westpac employees to raise funds for the appeal.
"It is very sad to see the devastation and heartbreak of the communities but it is refreshing to see how the Australian community has given their support," Scott said.

"We had planned an event with Westpac for the Adam Scott Foundation but in light of the recent tragedies in Victoria we changed our plans to raise as much money as we can for the Bushfire Appeal.
"I must congratulate Westpac on their continued support and all of the employees that have assisted in raising funds across the country."
The Westpac Group has so far collected $9.3 million in donations from customers for the Victorian Bushfire Relief Appeal. Westpac donated $1 million to the appeal two weeks ago, has matched employees' donations to the appeal to the value of more than $570,000 and has offered victims of the tragedy a range of relief measures.
Scott also hosted a junior golf clinic at Royal Queensland on Sunday. He spoke to a group of young golfers about technique and what it takes to be a professional golfer.
Scott also shared his goals for the season ahead and talked about the importance of preparation. After the clinic, Adam signed autographs and encouraged the kids to enjoy the sport.
The Royal Queensland & Adam Scott Junior Program was developed to assist young golfers in their pursuit of learning and playing golf. The program stresses the importance of etiquette of the game and the friendship and enjoyment it offers.
Club professionals provide lessons and clinics to all levels ages 6 to 16. On completion of the program each student receives a signed certificate from Royal Queensland and Scott.
