The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-3, 211-yard 16th at Grayhawk's Raptor Course

DESCRIPTION: Perhaps the most scenic hole on the golf course, the 16th plays downhill into a natural amphitheater with a creek tumbling down the left side and emptying into a greenside pond. A large grass collection area to the right side of the green acts as a bailout for those who lose their nerve. But from there, the pitch back towards a front-pin location can easily result in a dip in the pond. The ideal play is to aim at the collection area and work the ball back to the green, which is severely sloped from back to front. (Click here for tour)

Fourth round
With time running out in the chase for the $1 million Kodak Challenge prize, PGA TOUR pros needed to take advantage of the 211-yard par-3 16th at the Frys.com Open to keep pace with leader Kevin Streelman. Streelman's opening-day birdie moved him to 16 under and served notice that he was ready for the challenge. Several pros made sure Streelman had company at the top of the Kodak Challenge leaderboard. Bo Van Pelt and Nathan Green both birdied to stay within striking distance of Streelman at 14 under, while Daniel Chopra, Jason Gore and Matt Bettencourt all moved up to 13 under with deuces on No. 16. J.J. Henry failed to advance his score this week but remains tied for second at 14 under with Green and Van Pelt.
Ted Purdy and Chad Campbell both scored holes-in-one on No. 16 during Saturday's play, marking the first time this season two golfers aced a Kodak Challenge hole on the same day. Purdy's hole-in-one allowed him to jump two spots up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard to 13 under.
With just two holes remaining in the winner-take-all $1 million Kodak Challenge, next week's Viking Classic at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss., is sure to provide some great Kodak Challenge action. The par-5 532-yard 18th is a risk-reward hole that can offer Kodak Challengers a realistic shot at moving up two strokes.
Third round
For the first time this season, two golfers scored holes-in-one on a Kodak Challenge hole, as Ted Purdy and Chad Campbell both aced the par 3 211-yard 16th hole at Grayhawk Golf Club today. Purdy's hole-in-one allowed him to jump two spots up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard to 13 under, just three shots behind leader, Kevin Streelman.

Matt Bettencourt and Jason Gore both birdied the Kodak Challenge hole today to move to 13 under, while John Merrick moved to 12 under with a deuce on No. 16. J.J. Henry failed to advance up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard for the second straight day. He remains two shots behind Streelman at 14-under-par.

In addition to the two aces, there were 12 birdies, 46 pars and 19 bogies on the Kodak Challenge hole during the third round, making it the fifth-hardest hole at Grayhawk Golf Club today.
Second round
Bo Van Pelt and Nathan Green both birdied the Kodak Challenge hole -- No. 16 at the Frys.com Open to move to 14 under, just two shots behind leader Kevin Streelman. J.J. Henry, who played the 211-yard par 3 at Grayhawk Golf Club in even par today, is tied with Van Pelt and Green in second place. Green dropped a 24 footer from just off the green to keep pace with Van Pelt and Henry in pursuit of Streelman. Johnson Wagner also carded a deuce on the 16th today to join the group at 12 under.
There were 15 birdies, 93 pars and 19 bogeys on Kodak Challenge hole during the second round, making it the fourth hardest hole at Grayhawk Golf Club today.
First round
Kevin Streelman continued to set a fast pace for Kodak Challenge contenders today on No. 16 at the Frys.com Open. The current leader of the $1 million Kodak Challenge sunk a 28-foot putt for birdie on the par-3, 211-yard hole to increase his lead to 16 under, two shots ahead of J.J. Henry.
While the scenic par 3 on the Raptor Course at Grayhawk Golf Club was the third hardest hole of the day, several Kodak Challenge front-runners were able to match Streelman's deuce. Daniel Chopra and Jason Gore each moved to 13 under with birdies. Tim Petrovic and D.J. Trahan also moved to within striking distance at 12 under. There were 14 birdies, 90 pars and 17 bogeys on Challenge hole.
