The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.
THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-5, 560-yard 16th at TPC Summerlin
DESCRIPTION: The 16th at TPC Summerlin was the fourth easiest hole on the course in 2007, and in 2008 it saw 28 eagles and 218 birdies. To reach the green in two, pros try for a good tee shot to start setting themselves up to use a mid-iron. Although it's relatively downhill, pros must avoid hole trees on both sides of the fairway and the lake guarding the front of the green. (Click here for tour)

| Fourth round |
Kevin Streelman fought off J.J. Henry to maintain his lead in the $1 million Kodak Challenge this week at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Streelman's dramatic 41-foot putt for eagle on No. 16 on Saturday at TPC Summerlin allowed him to re-take the Kodak Challenge lead from Henry. Henry had eagled No. 16 during Friday's round to tie Streelman at 14 under. Henry remains one shot behind Streelman at 14 under.
Playing as the easiest hole at TPC Summerlin for most of the tournament, the par-5 560-yard hole provided Kodak Challengers with many opportunities to move up the leaderboard. Steve Lowery and Bo Van Pelt each carded eagles this week to jump up to 13 under. Joining them one shot behind Streelman is Nathan Green, who birdied No. 16. Matt Bettencourt, despite missing the cut, scored an eagle to join the group at 12 under.
A total of 13 golfers are currently within three strokes of the lead as the chase for the $1 million Kodak Challenge prize enters its final three holes. The Kodak Challenge continues on October 22-25 on the par-3 16th hole at the Frys.com Open at Grayhawk Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. The winner-take-all $1 million Kodak Challenge will conclude on November 12-15 at the Children's Miracle Network Classic at Disney's Magnolia Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. |

| Third round |
Kevin Streelman sank a 41-foot putt for eagle on No. 16 to re-take the Kodak Challenge lead at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Streelman was briefly tied at the top of the Kodak Challenge yesterday with J.J. Henry, who had eagled No. 16 during Friday's round at TPC Summerlin. Henry remains one shot behind Streelman at 14 under.
While the 16th hole played slightly more difficult for the pros today, a few Kodak Challenge contenders joined Streelman in moving up the leaderboard. Bo Van Pelt made an eagle to move to 13 under and within two shots of Streelman. Joe Olgilvie carded a birdie to join the large group tied at 11 under. Jason Bohn, currently 12 under on the Kodak Challenge leaderboard, continued his strong play in Las Vegas, shooting a 65 at TPC Summerlin to move to within two shots of the tournament lead.
There were six eagles, 35 birdies, 21 pars and 10 bogeys recorded on the Kodak Challenge hole today. |

| Second round |
J.J. Henry carded an eagle on the 16th hole at TPC Summerlin to move into a first-place tie for the Kodak Challenge lead with Kevin Streelman at 14 under Friday at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. For the second straight day, perfect weather conditions favored the pros on the 560-yard par-5, which ranked as the easiest hole on the course. Henry sunk a 22-foot putt to join several top Kodak Challenge contenders to eagle the hole Friday. Matt Bettencourt and D.J. Trahan also recorded eagles to move to 12 under and 11 under, respectively.
Bettencourt's move was particularly noteworthy as he failed to make the cut but made the most of his two chances on the Kodak Challenge hole this week (The Kodak Challenge records a player's best score, regardless if they play two or four rounds). Nathan Green carded a birdie to join Steve Lowery one shot off the lead at 13 under. Twenty-two golfers are presently within three shots of the Kodak Challenge lead. With two days of action left, movement on the leaderboard is far from over.
There were 19 eagles, 61 birdies, 36 pars and 12 bogeys recorded on the Kodak Challenge hole Friday. |

| First round |
Superb playing conditions provided the PGA TOUR pros tremendous opportunities to move up the Kodak Challenge leaderboard on the 16th hole at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Kevin Streelman birdied the 560-yard par 5 to increase his lead to 14 under. A host of pros are hot on Streelman's heels, as No. 16 played the easiest of all the holes Thursday at TPC Summerlin.
Steve Lowery made an unusual and unexpected three-stroke move up the leaderboard Thursday to land at 13 under, one shot off Streelman's lead. The Kodak Challenge's unique scoring rule allows players to record their best 18 scores. Because the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open represents Lowery's 19th Kodak Challenge hole, his eagle on No. 16 replaced a previously recorded bogey on another Kodak Challenge hole
The Kodak Fan Photo Zone located on the 16th provides fans with the opportunity to have their picture taken at the golf course -- a free photo when cameras are generally not allowed.
A unique "Smile & Win" spotter promotion awards instant prizes to fans wearing Kodak lanyards throughout the course at the event. The free lanyards can be picked up at the Kodak Fan Photo Zone on No. 16 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day of the tournament. |
