The Kodak Challenge is a first-of-its-kind competition for PGA TOUR players, who must play at least 18 of the 30 Kodak Challenge holes to be eligible to win. A player's lowest score relative to par on his best 18 Kodak Challenge holes will be counted. The player with the lowest cumulative score relative to par wins $1 million and the Kodak Challenge trophy.

THIS WEEK'S HOLE: The par-3, 230-yard 11th at Atunyote G.C.

DESCRIPTION: The longest par-3 on the course is protected on the right by a stream and a greenside bunker. Favor the left side of this large green as it slopes from left to right toward the water. (Click here for tour)

Fourth round
The Kodak Challenge hole No. 11 played tough all week for the pros at the Turning Stone Championship, ranking as the most-difficult hole at Atunyote Golf Club. While leader Kevin Streelman struggled on the Kodak Challenge hole, Jason Gore and Nathan Green each moved to within one stroke of the lead with birdies this weekend. Gore's move into second this week continued his remarkable Kodak Challenge run this season. Despite missing the cut in 11 of 22 tournaments, Gore has made the most of his limited Kodak Challenge opportunities this season.

Other Kodak Challengers to move up the leaderboard at the Turning Stone Championship were Brendon de Jonge and Bo Van Pelt, each of whom birdied the hole to move to 11 under and within two shots of Streelman. Vaughn Taylor, who is currently locked in a sudden-death playoff for the Turning Stone Championship with Matt Kuchar, also birdied No. 11 to move to 9 under.

The next Kodak Challenge hole is the 560-yard par-5 16th at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open October 15-18.
Third round
Jason Gore was one of the few pros to take advantage of the Kodak Challenge hole, No. 11 at the Turning Stone Resort Championship, today. With sunny skies and a drying course, the tough par-3 played played at its shortest distance of the week at 189 yards. Despite the improved conditions, though, No. 11 was the most difficult hole for the pros at Atunyote Golf Club today. Gore's rare deuce moved him to 12 under, just one shot off Kevin Streelman's lead. Streelman continued to struggle on No. 11, carding a bogey for the second consecutive day. Nicholas Thompson, currently two-shots behind Streelman on the Kodak Challenge scoreboard, played No. 11 at par during another strong round. His 69 placed him just two shots off the Turning Stone Championship lead.

Meanwhile, lucky fan Tom Chase of Cicero, N.Y. won a $1,000 Frys.com gift card today as part of the Kodak "Smile & Win" promotion. Chase was among the thousands of fans who picked up "Smile & Win" badges at the Kodak Fan Photo Zone located on No. 13. Kodak spotters treated "Smile & Win" fans throughout the day with instant prizes, including Turning Stone Championship hats and blankets and Kodak handheld digital video cameras. The instant give-away prizes continue Sunday. The Kodak Fan Photo Zone on No. 13 also continues to provide fans the opportunity to have their picture taken at the golf course -- a free photo at a time when cameras are generally not allowed.
Second round
Despite improved weather conditions on Friday, Kodak Challengers continued to be tested on the tough par-3 11th hole at Atunyote Golf Club, which measured 216 yards and was the second most difficult hole on the course. The top Kodak Challengers at the Turning Stone Resort Championship, Kevin Streelman and Nicholas Thompson, both carded their only bogeys of the day on the Kodak Challenge hole. Despite the miscue on No. 11, Thompson turned in a stellar round, shooting a 67 to finish the day just one shot off the overall lead at 9-under par.

Tim Herron carded one of the few birdies on No. 11 to move to within just two strokes of Streelman's Kodak Challenge lead. Tim Petrovic provided the day's most dramatic shot on the Kodak Challenge hole, sticking his tee shot to within 18 inches of the hole.

Over 2,000 fans picked up "Smile & Win" badges on Friday at the Kodak Fan Photo Zone, located on No. 13. Kodak spotters presented "Smile & Win" fans throughout the day with instant prize awards across the golf course, including Turning Stone Resort Championship hats and blankets and Kodak handheld digital video cameras. The instant prize promotion continues Saturday, when one lucky fan will win a $1,000 Frys.com gift card. In addition to the "Smile & Win" spotter program, the Kodak Fan Photo Zone continues to provide fans the opportunity to have their picture taken at the golf course -- a free photo at a time when cameras are generally not allowed.
First round
Early-round pars were considered best scores for Kodak Challenge front-runners on Thursday as the pros battled the elements at No. 11. Temperatures were in the 40s as rain and a chilly wind confronted the Kodak Challenge contenders at the par 3 201-yard hole.

Kodak Challenge leader Kevin Streelman joined Nicholas Thompson, Jason Bohn and Chris DiMarco in parring one of the toughest holes on the Atunyote G.C. during the first round. Leading the pack at 13-under-par after 17 holes, Streelman is trailed closely by Bohn and Green, who are still tied in third with five others at 11-under par for the season.

Rory Sabbatini carded one of the day's few birdies on the Kodak Challenge hole.

Kodak is offering several activities at Turning Stone Resort this week to let fans get in on the action. The Kodak Fan Photo Zone, located on No. 13, gives fans the opportunity to have their picture taken at the golf course. It's a free photo at a time when cameras are generally not allowed.

A unique "Smile & Win" spotter promotion awards instant prizes to fans wearing Kodak lanyards throughout the course at the Turning Stone Resort Championship. The free lanyards can be picked up at the Kodak Fan Photo Zone on No. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the tournament.
