Just three weeks remain until the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup begins. For players seeking a Playoff spot, the goal is simple -- claim a spot in the top 125 in FedExCup points after the Wyndham Championship.

As we go into this week's two events -- the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open -- here is a quick look at the players on the bubble just above and below that magic 125 cut line.

On the bubble
FedExCup rank Player Comment
120 Todd Hamilton After a T4 at the Verizon Heritage, Hamilton was 84th in points, but he has dropped into a precarious spot since missing the cut in eight of his last 11 starts.
121 Sergio Garcia Is it really possible that last year's third-place finisher in the Playoffs might not actually even have a spot in the 125-man field this year? Well, Garcia certainly needs to step it up down the stretch to hold off the late-chargers.
122 Cliff Kresge Has made the cut in more than half his starts this year, with three top-25 finishes, including a T10 at the FBR Open. He's looking to make the Playoffs for the third straight year.
123 Rich Beem Last year, Beem squeezed into the playoffs with a third-place finish at the Wyndham Championship, jumping him 52 spots in the standings. He doesn't need such heroics this year, but he may need to make some cuts.
124 Brendon de Jonge A missed cut at the Buick Open cost de Jonge five spots in the standings and now he sits uncomfortable close to the cut line. He could use another T7 like the one he posted in Milwaukee last month.
125 Michael Bradley Won his first start of the year in Puerto Rico, but after that feast, it's been pretty much famine for Bradley, who hasn't finished better than T39 and has missed the cut in six of his last 10 starts.
126 Nicholas Thompson Missing the cut at the Buick Open pushed Thompson out of the top 125. He could use another T11 like the one he posted at the Shell Houston Open in April.
127 Charles Warren Moved up 17 spots from last week thanks to his T14 at the Buick Open. He hasn't been inside the top-125 number since May when he posted a T18 at the Quail Hollow Championship.
128 Ricky Barnes Were it not for those 230 points he earned at the U.S. Open with a T2 finish, Barnes would be sitting with John Daly in 213th position. As it is, Barnes still has a chance to sneak a spot.
129 Aron Price He's made three straight cuts, but unfortunately it's netted him less than six FedExCup points due to his less-than-stellar results (72, T64, T68). Only once in his last 11 starts has he made a positive move up the standings.
130 Tommy Armour III After Armour's last PGA TOUR start, he was ranked 87th in points. That was more than two months ago. His inactivity since then has dropped below the cut line, but he's a steady earner when he plays. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him make his third straight Playoffs.
