FedExCup fast facts
• No players can pass Zach Johnson at the top of the standings this week.
• 25 players could move into the top 10 with a win, but only nine can move into the top 10 with a solo second.
Player Notes
James Driscoll
FedExCup rank: 73 | FedExCup points: 312
• Driscoll could move as high as 13th with a victory this week.
• Driscoll had only earned 12 points in six starts entering last week's Valero Texas Open but earned 25 times his total when he finished second in a playoff.
• His 300 points for second place also represents 96 percent of his total points earned for the season and moved him from 217th to 73rd in the FedExCup standings.
Rory Sabbatini
FedExCup rank: 29 | FedExCup points: 581
• Sabbatini could move as high as seventh with a victory this week.
• With six top-25 finishes this season, Sabbatini is averaging about 48 points per start on the season.
Brian Davis
FedExCup rank: 51 | FedExCup points: 426
• Davis could move as high as 13th with a victory this week.
• At 16 rounds and counting, Davis has the longest active streak of par or better rounds on the PGA TOUR entering this week. During the course of this streak, Davis has earned a total of 287 FedExCup points and finished in the top five twice.
James Nitties
FedExCup rank: 70 | FedExCup points: 320
• Nitties could move as high as 13th with a victory this week.
• Nitties has earned at least 40 points in five of his 14 starts this season, unfortunately he has also missed the cut in half of his starts -- resulting in an average of about 23 points per start.
Robert Allenby
FedExCup rank: 56 | FedExCup points: 381
• Allenby could move as high as 12th with a victory this week.
• Allenby has made the cut in eight of his 10 starts this season, but, with only one top-10 finish, he is only averaging about 42 points per start.
