The field has hit the fairways for Saturday's play at the Quail Hollow Championship. Check out how FedExCup scenarios are unfolding.

Quick Facts

• Only four players -- Phil Mickelson, Nick Watney, Zach Johnson, and Brian Gay -- can pass Geoff Ogilvy atop the standings this week.

• It is getting harder to move up in the standings. Only 41 players in this week's field that are not already in the top 10 can move in and for 27 of those players nothing short of a victory will move them into the top 10 in the standings.

• With seven of the top 10 playing this week, moving up is going to be a little more difficult.

Player Notes

Bubba Watson
FedExCup Rank:
79
FedExCup Points: 248

• Watson could move as high as 14th in the standings with a victory this week.

• With only one top 10 and four missed cuts on the season, Watson is averaging less than 25 points per start.

• The leader in driving distance on the PGA TOUR, it is not surprising that Watson is leading the field this week in driving distance, but he also leads the field in greens in regulation after the first two rounds.

Tiger Woods
FedExCup Rank:
14
FedExCup Points: 720

• It is possible that Tiger Woods can move into the top 10 for the first time this season with a top-10 finish at Quail Hollow.

• Even with a victory, the highest Woods could move in the FedExCup standings is fourth.

Zach Johnson
FedExCup Rank:
6
FedExCup Points: 929

• Johnson could move into first place in the standings with a victory this week.

• In 10 starts on the season, Johnson is averaging about 93 points per start.

• Johnson ranks in the top 25 in driving accuracy, greens in regulation, and total putting which translates to a rank of 15th in scoring average.

Retief Goosen
FedExCup Rank:
10
FedExCup Points: 793

• Goosen could move as high as second in the standings with a victory and a finish of third or better could move him into the top 5.

• Almost 90 percent of Goosen's points for the season have come from his victory at the Transitions Championship and his third-place finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
