ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- With his win Sunday, Eduardo Romero claims his second title on the Champions Tour and the first since his victory at the 2006 JELD-WEN.

• Romero earns a check for $240,000 and 240 points in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. He moves to 17th on the Champions Tour money list with $565,687 and into 20th place in the Charles Schwab Cup race with 381 points.

• Romero's 54-hole total of 17-under-par 199 matched the winning score of last year's champion R.W. Eaks.

• There was no change in the top five in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. Jay Haas continues to lead with 1,671 points followed by Bernhard Langer with 1,413 points. Scott Hoch remains third with 1,026 points followed by Loren Roberts and Jeff Sluman with 1,026 and 796 points, respectively. The program offers $2.1 million in tax-deferred annuity payouts to the five leading finishers, with the winner receiving a $1-million annuity.

• Competition remains keen on the Champions Tour in 2008. After today's event, 12 of 17 tournaments have been decided by either a playoff or by just one stroke. In fact, eight of the last nine events have been decided by one stroke.

• Gary Koch posted his best finish since a tie for second at the 2004 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, where he tied for second along with Fulton Allem on Sunday. Koch earned a check for $128,000 and probably earned his way to the Senior British Open later this month. He needed a high finish to play his way into the event as a non-exempt player.

• Ronnie Black's tie for seventh finish may earn him a spot in the 3M Championship starting on July 14 near Minneapolis. Black had gotten into this event as an alternate. Two non-exempt players who earn top-10 finishes advance into the next Champions Tour event. The deadline for the 3M Championship field is next Friday at 5 p.m. ET.

• Bruce Vaughan, who was second here a year ago, picked up a tie for fifth finish with three straight rounds in the 60s. He earned $70,400 pushing his yearly earnings to $258,162.

• Gary Hallberg's final-round 64 helped him vault from a tie for 29th after Saturday's round to a tie for 10th.

• The most difficult hole for the week was No. 13 with an average of 4.159 (+.159). The easiest hole was No. 12 at 4.642 (-.358).

• The final scoring average was 70.333, nearly two strokes lower than 2007's average of 72.308. A total of 144 players recorded rounds in the 60s this year compared to 46 last year. So far in 2008, the En-Joie Golf Course ranked as the second easiest on the Champions Tour, with only the Hualalai Golf Course easier.
