• At the 2007 Deutsche Bank Championship, only two players were able to advance in the PGA TOUR's Playoffs for the FedExCup from Nos. 71-120 into the following week's BMW Championship: John Mallinger and Bo Van Pelt. In 2008, 10 players were able to move from outside the top 70 and into the upcoming BMW Championship.

Tim Herron posted a 6-under 65 to record a tie for fifth, helping him jump 51 spots on the FedExCup points list to No. 48 and earn an invitation into the upcoming BMW Championship.

• Vijay Singh's 34th career win (the most ever by an international player) is worth 11,000 FedExCup points and helps pad his lead atop the FedExCup standings, with 120,500 points. Sergio Garcia is second on the list with 108,275 points. The top 70 players on the points list advance to the BMW Championship, the third of four events of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

• Vijay Singh, who made his 402nd career PGA TOUR start this week, becomes the first player to win three tournaments in a five-tournament stretch since Tiger Woods won three out of four with his victories at the 2006 PGA Championship, World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the Deutsche Bank Championship. In his last five starts, Singh has won the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, The Barclays and the Deutsche Bank Championship.

• While 18 players entered the final round with a chance to record all four rounds in the 60s, only Vijay Singh (64-66-69-63) pulled the feat off.

• Mike Weir's runner-up finish is the eighth of his career. In 284 career starts, he has amassed eight wins, eight runner-up finishes and seven third-place showings. Weir entered the day with a one-stroke lead, but failed to carry the 54-hole lead on to victory for the ninth time in 10 career attempts. His only win with the 54-hole lead came at the 2004 Northern Trust Open.

• While the first three playings of the Deutsche Bank Championship saw the 54-hole leader go on to victory, the last three have failed to do so. Vijay Singh adds his name to the tournament's list of comeback winners, which includes Tiger Woods (2006) and Phil Mickelson (2007).

• Vijay Singh has a proven track record of come-from-behind victories, with 15 of his 34 wins coming in comeback fashion (Note: one of his comeback victories was a 54-hole event).

• Experience was abundant among three of the top players on the Deutsche Bank Championship leaderboard, with Vijay Singh (34), Mike Weir (8) and Ernie Els (16) accounting for 58 career PGA TOUR victories during their careers.

• Dating back to the Buick Open in late June, Ken Duke (tied for 10th) has now finished inside the top 20 in seven out of his last nine starts. His only misses came at the AT&T National (missed cut) and the Wyndham Championship (tied for sixth). He has risen all the way to 18th on the FedExCup points list.

Chad Campbell eagled Nos. 4 & 18 on Monday to become the fourth player this week with two eagles on his scorecard in a single round. Since the tournament's inception in 2003, the feat has happened 10 times.

• With Singh's come-from-behind win on Monday, the third-round leader has won 20 of 37 stroke-play events on the PGA TOUR in 2008.

Kevin Streelman has made 12 straight cuts on the PGA TOUR, dating back to the AT&T Classic in May. During that stretch, he was as low as No. 142 on the FedExCup points list, but moved back into the top 100 (No. 37) with his tie for fourth at The Barclays for the first time since the Buick Invitational. With a tie for 50th at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Streelman sits in the 33rd spot on the FedExCup points list.

• On Monday, Bubba Watson (70-69-71-70) posted his 10th consecutive round at par or better, the current-best streak on TOUR.

• Three PGA TOUR rookies will advance to the BMW Championship. Kevin Streelman is now No. 33 in the points, while Chez Reavie is No. 54 and Martin Laird is No. 61.

• The TPC Boston course yielded a 72.083 average during the final round, bringing the cumulative average for the week to 69.869. The par-4 14th hole played the hardest this week at 4.170, while the par-5 18th hole was the easiest at 4.438.

• Singh earned his 34th career victory in his 402nd event on the PGA TOUR at the age of 45 years, 6 months, 10 days. He has won 24 different PGA TOUR events, and owns 56 career professional victories worldwide (34 PGA TOUR, 22 international).

• He became the fourth winner in the tournament's six-year history to be ranked in the top-10 in the Official World Golf Rankings at the time of his victory, along with Phil Mickelson in 2007, Tiger Woods in 2006 and Singh himself in 2004.

• Singh also became the third consecutive come-from-behind winner at the Deutsche Bank Championship, joining Tiger Woods (2006) and Phil Mickelson (2007).

• With his paycheck of $1,260,000, Singh has now earned $6,452,531, marking the fourth season in his career with more than $6 million earned (2003-2005, 2008). Singh also has eclipsed the $60 million mark in career earnings with $60,560,749. He remains at No. 2 on the PGA TOUR's all-time money list, trailing only Tiger Woods ($82,354,376).

• The win is Singh's third of the 2008 season (World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, The Barclays, Deutsche Bank Championship). This marks the fourth season of his career in which he has won at least three tournaments (2003-2005, 2008), and he joins Tiger Woods (4) and Kenny Perry (3) as the only players thus far on the 2008 PGA TOUR with three or more wins.

• Singh's 34th PGA TOUR victory ties him with Phil Mickelson for 13th all-time on the PGA TOUR and two wins shy of No. 12 (Lloyd Mangrum with 36). With his 32nd win at the Bridgestone Invitational, Singh became the winningest international player in PGA TOUR history.

• Singh collected his second career title at the Deutsche Bank Championship, in turn giving him multiple titles at six tournaments: The Barclays (4), Shell Houston Open (3), Buick Open (3), FBR Open (2), PGA Championship (2) and the Deutsche Bank Championship (2). He also became the first player to win back-to-back tournaments (in back-to-back weeks) on the PGA TOUR since Tiger Woods won the BMW Championship and THE TOUR Championship in 2007.
