Pick: Jesper Parnevik
Aside from Tiger and Vijay, Parnevik has to be the hardest working guy on TOUR. Parnevik beats balls on the range like a mad man to the point where if you watch him long enough, your hands want to bleed for him. All the hard work has got to pay eventually. He comes to the Wachovia Championship following a tie for 13th in Dallas -- his best finish of the season.

Pick: J.J. Henry
Henry has consistently made the cut (four out of five) at the Wachovia Championship and has finished inside the top 30 most of those times. The tough Quail Hollow course suits his game but, based on his recent string of missed cuts and complete lack of top-10s in 2008, Henry is the perfect candidate to sneak up on the field.

Pick: Nick Watney
Better than solid track record at Wachovia and played very well on a tough course -- and in tough conditions -- at the Byron Nelson. Hasn't top-10ed since the first week of the year, but he tied for 11th at the Masters.

Pick: J.J. Henry
He has decent record at Quail Hollow and he really needs something good to happen.

Pick: Davis Love III

Davis Love III hasn't yet come all the way back to form. But in the town of his birth, he just might break through. He showed some signs of the old Davis at Hilton Head. When you consider the names of the previous winners at Quail Hollow, Davis fits right in. He has been gearing his game toward THE PLAYERS Championship next week. It might just show up a week earlier than he expected.

Win McMurry
Host, PGA TOUR Today
Pick: Nick Watney
Watney has finished in the top 25 in each of his three starts at the Wachovia. By this time last year, he had already pocketed a victory, at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, which bought him a ticket to the 2008 Masters. The three-time All-American finished tied for 11th in his first appearance in Augusta. After taking a few weeks off, I think he is refreshed and ready for another win.

Scott Pianowski

Pick: Charles Howell III
He got his groove back with a solid week at the Verizon Heritage, and while he's only been in serious contention once here, he's made the cut 4-of-5 times. On paper, the Quail Hollow Club seems like a track that should suit his eye.

Pick: Sergio Garcia
Forget Sunday at the TPC Four Seasons. Garcia is beginning to profit from his work with Stan Utley, and he returns this week to a course in Quail Hollow that he clearly likes. In four starts at the Wachovia Championship, the young Spaniard has never missed a cut and he tied for second in 2005 and 14th last season. Maybe this is where Garcia gets his first TOUR win since 2005.

Pick: Tim Clark
We keep expecting this talented South African to get untracked, and we're sure he has been expecting it, too. Nine starts this year and still without a top-10 finish isn't anywhere near his usual level of proficiency. Tied for 14th at Quail Hollow two years ago.

Pick: Paul Casey
This is a crucial week for the Englishman, who must shake off any lasting effects of that dreadful, final round 79 at the Masters. Two weeks of simmering anger will transform into pure adrenaline in his first apppearance at this tournament. Always at his best in marquee events with strong, global fields.
