Bridgestone Invitational: Birdies for Charity

Birdies for Charity returns this year to let golf fans put their guessing skills to the test while raising money for local charities. Operated by Northern Ohio Golf Charities, Inc. and in conjunction with the World Golf Championships -- Bridgestone Invitational, July 29-August 3, 2008 at Firestone Country Club, Birdies for Charity invites select non-profit organizations to seek pledges, either as a dollar amount per birdie made in the tournament or as a fixed amount.

Grand Prize: $5,000

First Prize: 42" Flat Screen TV

Second Prize: Bridgestone Golf Clubs & Staff Bag

Third Prize: Set (4) of Bridgestone Tires

Rules: Only one grand prize awarded. If more than one correct guess for birdies scored, winner will be chosen in separate random drawing. All other prizes determined by separate random drawing. Judge's decision final. All guesses must be on an official pledge card. Guesses may be limited. Additional pledge cards and complete set of rules available at Northern Ohio Golf Charities, Inc. office located at 440 E. Warner Road, Akron, OH 44319. No pledge or purchase required. Need not be present to win.
