2:24 p.m. -- Want to see some highlights before GOLF CHANNEL begins its coverage? PGA TOUR Today has an early round 1 update. Watch it here.

1:34 p.m. -- Ernie Els is back on the course following his victory last weekend at The Honda Classic. He's at even par through his first two holes. Meanwhile, look out for Lee Janzen. Janzen is already 3 under through his first five holes. He birdied No. 1 -- so far the easiest hole on the course -- then followed it up with birdies on the par-4 third and the par-5 fifth.
Janzen could use a solid finish this week. He's missed two cuts in his three starts in 2008, but he tied for 34th at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

12:42 p.m. -- LEAD CHANGE. Bart Bryant has birdied Nos. 17 and 18 to post a 6-under-par 65 and take a one shot lead over Jeff Maggert, Stewart Cink, Kenny Perry and Jeff Maggert at the top of the leaderboard.
Bryant's most recent PGA TOUR title came in 2005 when he won THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola. Earlier that season, he also won the Memorial Tournament.
This season, Bryant has made four of five cuts, with a pair of top-25 finishes, including one last week at The Honda Classic.

12:21 p.m. -- Jeff Overton has birdied two of his last three holes to get to 4 under through 13 holes. That's just one shot behind leaders Stewart Cink, Kenny Perry and Jeff Maggert. Overton is bogey-free so far today and has 20 putts in 13 holes.
Overton is looking for his first PGA TOUR victory. His best finish is a tie for second at the Wyndham Championship last August behind first-time winner Brandt Snedeker. Overton has made three cuts in six starts this year, with a best finish of 25th at the FBR Open about a month ago.

12:13 p.m. -- IN THE CLUBHOUSE. Stewart Cink, who led for most of the morning, finished his round with a par on the 430-yard, par-4 ninth. He ends the day with a 66 and now shares the lead with Kenny Perry and Jeff Maggert. Cink's lone bogey came on the par-4 sixth.
Cink is searching for his fifth PGA TOUR title and his first since he won a pair of events in 2004.

Tom Pernice Jr. and Jonathan Byrd are also done for the day after carding 4-under 67s. Nick Watney finished with a 68 today and Sean O'Hair had a 69 despite back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 17 and 18.

11:37 a.m. -- LEAD CHANGE. After three consecutive birdies and four in his last five holes, Jeff Maggert has taken a one-shot lead over a gaggle of players. On his back nine, Maggert has birdied the par-4 third, the par-5 fifth and the par-4 sixth and seventh.
Maggert has been a model of consistency so far on TOUR in 2008. He's missed just one cut and has a top finish of a tie for 25th at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

11:31 a.m. -- LEAD CHANGE. Stewart Cink has bogeyed the par-4, 465-yard sixth hole, creating a seven-way tie at the top of the leaderboard, with Sean O'Hair, Tom Pernice, Jonathan Byrd, Kenny Perry, Jeff Maggert, Cink and Bart Bryant all at 4-under.
Here's a short description of the hole that tripped Cink up: The downhill, dogleg-right sixth hole may be the toughest par 4 on the Copperhead. An accurate tee shot is necessary to leave a long second shot from a sloping lie. The large green is elevated and severely contoured.
