Pick: Carl Pettersson
In five events to start the 2008 season, Pettersson hasn't exactly been playing lights-out golf. But, he could sneak up on the field at the PODS Championship. By now we all know that Pettersson is more than capable of some fine golf. And, he's also a former winner of the PODS Championship (2006), so he's comfortable with the demanding Innisbrook Copperhead Course. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fare well this week.

Pick: Chris DiMarco
He's a University of Florida Gator and Orlando resident who can turn an otherwise lackluster start to the season around this week. The three-time PGA TOUR winner has missed four cuts in six tries this year. DiMarco's best 2008 finish so far is a tie for 54th at the FBR Open. DiMarco's shoulder still isn't back to 100 percent after surgery last September and he's having problems getting his swing back into the tip-top form that lead him to runner-up finishes at the 2005 Masters and the 2006 British Open. But he thinks he's close to fixing the issue and there's no better time to start afresh than the PODS Championship, where he's top-35ed in both of his previous tries.

Pick: Lucas Glover
It's time to kick this season into gear. He finished fourth here and that counts big time. Rules knock out at least a dozen other options.

John Maginnes

Pick: Lucas Glover
Lucas Glover has been struggling lately. The one thing about Lucas is that we know that he is working hard. Sometimes it just takes a little spark to get a player of his ability back on track. If it can't be Big Easy this week, maybe it will be Big Country.

Win McMurry
Host, PGA TOUR Today
Pick: Eric Axley
While he's had a rough start to his season, Axley seems to be turning on his game. He's made made the last two cuts, playing well on Thursday and Friday. I think it's time for him to bring his game to the weekend.

Pick: Bart Bryant
No low-hanging fruit this week, let's swing for a more unique angle. Bryant has cashed five straight checks at this event (two top-20 finishes), and he's played well in three of his last four events in 2008.

Dave Shedloski

Pick: Hunter Mahan
Thought about going with the South African double and selecting Retief Goosen, who won the PODS Championship in the fall of 2003, but Goose has been hitting his driver to all points crooked, and he's got to untangle his swing if he's going to compete. So, instead, we're going with Mahan, a good putter and fine ball-striker whose game has gone a bit askew in recent weeks and who, strangely, hasn't done well at the Copperhead Course in the past. Time he put his skills to better use.

PIck: Brett Quigley
Quigley took care of business last week when he tied for 12th at The Honda Classic. He's got his Major Medical Extension for the rest of the year, so now he can look toward getting that elusive first win. This could be a big week for him.

John Swantek

Pick: John Senden
Rough start at Honda, opening with 77, but steadied going 2-under the rest of the way. An excellent ball striker who was runner-up here a year ago and, like most Aussies, plays well in the wind, if it blows.
