| Several big-name players work way into fieldMar. 10, 2008DORAL, Fla. -- With his victory at the PODS Championship on Sunday, Sean O'Hair moved to No 35 in the Official World Golf Ranking and joined several other players who have now officially qualified for the World Golf Championships-CA Championship. The tournament will be played March 18-23 at Doral Golf Resort & Spa. Other players now qualified for the second World Golf Championships event of the season include Luke Donald, Justin Leonard, Mike Weir, Stuart Appleby, FBR Open winner J.B. Holmes, Germany's Martin Kaymer and Mercedes-Benz Championship winner Daniel Chopra. Ryuji Imada, who tied for second at the PODS Championship, which was his second runner-up finish of 2008, also played his way into qualifying by moving to No. 7 in the FedExCup regular season standings. David Toms, who missed the cut at the PODS Championship, moved from No. 50 in the Official World Golf Rankings, to No. 53 and, therefore, is no longer qualified for the event. Players who have not already qualified can find themselves in the field by finishing this week in the top 10 in the PGA TOUR's FedExCup points standings, the top 10 of the European Tour's Order of Merit or in the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking by deadline on Monday, March 17. While many of the top players in the world like defending champion Tiger Woods, Honda Classic winner Ernie Els or No. 2 player in the world Phil Mickelson have already qualified, several players remain on the bubble. Players on the bubble who will need a good finish this week to move into position are noted in the tables below. Players with an * by their names are not previously qualified. Players shaded in grey are already qualified for the event.
