Of the 83 players who made the 36-hole cut, 71 made the 54-hole cut on Saturday, which came in at 8-under-par 208.
Marc Turnesa, at 21-under-par 195, moved into solo possession of the lead after 54 holes at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Turnesa fashioned a 3-under 69 on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead over Chris DiMarco (63), Michael Allen (64) and Ken Duke (67).
This represents the second 54-hole lead of Turnesa's career. He held solo possession of the lead for the first three rounds of the 2008 Viking Classic before falling in a playoff to Will MacKenzie. He has now held at least a share of the lead all three rounds this week.

Chris DiMarco posted the round of the day with a 9-under 63 to move from seven shots off the pace at the beginning of the day to within one shot of Turnesa's lead. It was his best round on the PGA TOUR since a 62 in the third round of the 2003 Phoenix Open. Currently No. 147 on the official money list, DiMarco is seeking his first victory since the 2002 Phoenix Open.
Former University of Nevada standout Michael Allen posted a 7-under 29 on the front nine at TPC Summerlin on his way to an 8-under 64, pulling within one shot of the lead in the process.
Allen, a 49-year-old native of San Mateo, CA, is making his 10th start at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, with a T13 in 1993 his best outing.

So far in 2008, the third-round leader/co-leader has won 21 of 43 stroke-play events, including most recently Camilo Villegas at the BMW Championship.
A total of eight players have posted two eagles in a round so far this week, with Chad Campbell performing the feat twice. The list includes: Round 1 -- Chad Campbell, Bill Haas, Will MacKenzie, Pat Perez; Round 2 -- Daniel Chopra, Jason Day; Round 3 -- Chad Campbell, Chris DiMarco and Davis Love III.
Defending champion George McNeill posted a third-consecutive 5-under 67 and sits six shots off the pace with 18 holes to play.

The par-4 10th hole played the most difficult on Saturday with a 4.181 average, while the par-5 third hole was the easiest for the third straight day at 4.253.
