Editor's note: PGATOUR.com has tried to make our experts work a little harder when they make their picks each week. The favorite can be anyone in the field, although Tiger Woods can only be used seven times during the year. Sleepers can't have won in 2008 or had a top-10 in their last five starts. A sleeper can't be ranked in the top 30 in the field, either.

T.J. Auclair

Pick: Joe Durant
Yeah, I know Joe hasn't done much in recent weeks, but you have to have a good ballstriker at tight 'ol Milwaukee, and he fits the bill. Durant is in the top 25 in Driving Accuracy and Greens in Regulation. All it takes is four days with a hot putter, and Durant has it in him.

Lauren Deason

Pick: Dustin Johnson
After such a great start to the year, Johnson has cooled off a bit in recent months. His best finish lately was a tie for 34th at the Travelers Championship. With that being said, Johnson has only missed one cut in his last seven starts and has amassed two top-10s this season. Though he'll have to take down Kenny Perry (not an easy task these days), this rookie has what it takes to take home the title.

Pick: Cameron Beckman
Yes, another Texan. Sorry. Gator boy Chris DiMarco got a look and I love Harrison Frazar, too, but me choosing him has brought him nothing but bad luck. It's really not a Texas thing with Beckman. Just consider Beckman finished strong last week -- 69-65 -- and has been working his way back with three solid tournaments in a row. He's too good not to make it four and keep building.

Pick: Billy Mayfair
An off-season could take a turn for the better here, where Mayfair has fared fairly well from time to time. Has made nine of his last 10 cuts, but best finish is T24. Will improve here.

Win McMurry

Pick: Mathias Gronberg
We saw last week how the drive to turn a season around propelled Will MacKenzie up the leaderboard. I think this might be the week for Gronberg to do the same. He's only made five of 19 cuts so far and needs to have a spectacular week. He is working with a new trainer, and I believe the results are going to show in Milwaukee.

Pick: Jeff Maggert
I'm never surprised when the steady-striking veteran makes a run, and he's got two strong finishes in this event, including a fifth-place check last year.

Helen Ross

Pick: Tim Herron
I'm going with another experienced player in Tim Herron. He tied for second last year at Brown Deer Park, and he's got a trio of top-three finishes overall. Plus, he's got three top-20 finishes in his last four starts.

Pick: Billy Mayfair
Won the last Milwaukee edition at Tuckaway Country Club. Veteran hits a lot of fairways and greens, but needs putter to cooperate to go over the top.

John Swantek

Pick: Briny Baird

This feels eerily similar to Joe Ogilvie's breakthrough last year in Milwaukee; veteran player in his mid-30s with more than 200 career starts without a victory. The numbers fit; shortest course on TOUR and fourth-easist par-70 last year should equal lots of birdies. Baird is sixth on TOUR in total birdies and has been knocking on the door all season with nine top-15 finishes. Step on through, Briny.
