Still, he starts the day just seven back.

Why you should watch: Scott sits just one shot back of the lead after a Thursday 68 that included a bogey on the par-3 fifth and a double-bogey on the par-4 sixth. Scott was bogey-free on the back nine, where he starts his round today. Hometown boy Leonard is just four back of the lead at the start of Friday's round, as is Garcia. Both of Garcia's Thursday bogeys were on the back nine.

Why you should watch: Parnevik had one bogey on the front nine and one on the back nine Thursday. He had three birdies in a four-hole stretch between Nos. 11 and 14. Goggin also had two bogeys on Thursday, but strung together three consecutive birdies on Nos. 5-7 and he starts Friday tied for the lead. Armour, meanwhile, has a lot of work ahead following a 79 on Thursday.
