PGA TOUR SHOT TRACKER: Follow any group on the course

Carl Pettersson, Scott McCarron
Tee time:
2:05 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 5
Why you should watch: Pettersson has won twice before on the PGA TOUR but his last victory came in 2006 at the Memorial Tournament. He's been the story over the past few days -- the 61 on Friday, hanging onto the lead on Saturday, local favorite who attended nearby N.C. State University. McCarron hasn't earned a TOUR title since 2001 but that could change on the 72nd hole at Sedgefield Country Club. He's also had quite the story to tell, as McCarron couldn't play last season because of a surgery he endured in August 2006. In fact, he was playing out of the veteran's category earlier this year and had to write letters to tournament directors in order to get into events. Though he was given an exemption into the Wyndham Championship, McCarron didn't need after earning his way into the event based on his recent play. Still, a win would cement his status on TOUR for the next two years and he wouldn't have to restart the letter-writing campaign.

Briny Baird, Kevin Streelman
Tee time: 1:55 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 32
Why you should watch: Neither have ever won on the PGA TOUR but that could all change on Sunday. Baird captured a title on the Nationwide Tour in 2000, so at least he knows how it's done. Streelman, on the other hand, is in the midst of his first full season on the PGA TOUR. Will he join fellow rookie Chez Reavie, who won weeks ago at the RBC Canadian Open? Hey, it's a good tournament for rookies, as Brandt Snedeker proved with his exciting, come-from-behind victory in Greensboro last year.

Rich Beem, Eric Axley
Tee time: 1:05 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 5
Why you should watch: Rich Beem nearly missed the cut on Friday, posting a 36-hole total of 3-under 137 with a late birdie and eagle to make it on the number. Then he posted a 7-under 63 on Saturday to move from a tie for 61st to a tie for 13th. Does he more magic in him on Sunday? He tied his career low on Saturday with that 63, so we'll see. Axley has been playing well lately and tied for fourth in his last event, the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open. Axley went birdie, eagle, birdie in the third round of the Wyndham Championship from the 14th hole through the 16th hole, so, like Beem, he will need a little more of that magic in order to catch leader Pettersson.

Beem 19 11 -- -- -- -- 2 72.09
Axley 24 14 -- -- -- 3 5 71.51
